Farewell TeamViewer, Hello Webex
As some of you may be aware, we have recently made the decision to stop using TeamViewer for our remote support sessions. This is primarily down to security, and ensuring that we maintain a secure and strong connection whilst our Support Engineers work on your system.
Going forward we will now be using Webex for all remote support sessions – you do not require a webex account for this, and you will be provided with a session id (which changes for each session) by your support engineer to establish a remote support connection. We are also able to connect via RDP (by use of a VPN or other service provided by your IT) if Webex is not available.
